Back In Tanzania

Arrived home from the US last Thursday. Only two bags missing and they were both Devin's. One of them was a 9ft windsurf board. How can anyone misplace that! It finally arrived yesterday and Devin is singing praises of his new friend at Dubai's lost baggage claim.

It was a busy month in the US! My niece Brittany's wedding at the beginning of the month, Holly's graduation from SJSU's MPH program, Laurens new life as a college student and many great times with friends and family in between. Now that we are home we begin our transition back to the world of daily power outages, mosquitoes, home repairs, hot days, corrupt police, etc... Its good to be back!

Because of the complexity of our travel schedule, Holly arrives home today. It will be nice to have the family together minus one! We are going to miss Lauren but I guess that this is what growing up is all about!

   Prayer requests:

Sept 25 - 28 Tony travels to Kigoma Tanzania to meet with church leaders and to look at ministry opportunities in that area.

Pray for Southern Sudan's new independence, selection of leadership, and the rebuilding of their country. There is still fighting and genecide that is taking place on the new Southern Sudan border.

Pray for Lauren as she begin the life of a college student
